As a Catholic, I await Easter with great joy mixed with sorrow. The Lenten experience can be long – nothing in comparison to 40 days in a desert—but looking forward to a day of celebration is a great way to stay focused, and the for the littles a goal when they are struggling to sit through masses for the Holy Tridiuum.  I plan several fun things for Easter each year, nothing too different than any typical traditions. There are eggs, there is decorating, there are egg hunts and of course, food. I, of course, can’t do anything halfway and so I have created and stolen many ways to “kick it up a notch.”
